From the six financially supported projects in the Call MSc2009, the jury - being all the board-members of BiR&D - has selected two projects for the student-awards of 2.000 EUR for every student involved:

| with 2 participating faculties: Engineering and Arts & Philosophy, under coordination of Prof. Jan Vanfleteren, and with following students: Wim Bothuyne and Tom De Nies. | ||
The board of BiR&D congratulates the students and their supervisors for the outstanding interdisciplinary teamwork in realizing the set objectives in such highly relevant technical & economic challenges for both society and industry.
