Programme for Interdisciplinary Master of Science thesis
In a spirit of collaborative innovation, BiR&D wants to stimulate a multidisciplinary approach to R&D themes at universities and associated High-Schools with MSc-level, to create awareness among students for industrial and societal challenges, to promote cooperation between faculties and universities and to enhance the R&D networking between universities and industry.
To this end, BiR&D started in 2009 a programme for « Interdisciplinary Master of Science thesis », addressed to Belgian Universities and associated High-Schools. BiR&D has reserved an annual budget of 70.000 EUR to financially support up to 6 projects as well as to provide awards to students participating in up to 3 winning projects. The programme is being repeated in Call MSc 2011.

Submission procedure
1. Submission of proposals are to be made by the Coordinating Professor of the proposed project, using the appropriate forms A for Admin data and B for content of proposal.
